Video door phones provide your home a since of security by adding a monitor to your door bell so you can see exactly who it is.

We are now moving into a very high technologically advanced society.  One in which ease and convenience are the primary standards.  The latest of ease and convenience has brought us cell phones, laptops, and wireless internet.  The latest thing starting to hit the household consumer market is the video door phones.

Video door phones allow you to answer and even unlock and open the door without being next to the door.  It very simply works like a door bell for your guest.  That person rings the door bell which rings the household phone.  A monitor on the phone allows the owner to see who the person is.  From there you can either choose to pick up the phone to have a conversation with the guest and allow him in, or if it's no one you want to see, choose to leave them out.

This is a great product for house owners who spend a lot of time far away from the front door like in the garage, basement, or bedroom.  You'll be able to let the person in by the press of a button.

Most video door phones come equipped with at least a four inch monitor and everything you need to install.  The installation is very simple as well.  All you'll need to do is mount the phone and camera on the outside and plug in the monitor phone on the inside.

Some of the other features are great benefits as well.  For example, the camera has a built-in infrared light that will allow you to see your guests even in the darkest of conditions.  There is also a manual turn on function in case your visitor decides to knock rather than ring the bell.

The price of the video door phones should not set you back too much.  You can buy a decent system for just under $200.  Other systems with multiple cameras and monitors can run in the thousands but it all varies on what and where you need it.

Video door phones are a great addition to the house.  They provide more security because it simply allows you to see who exactly it is at the door before you open it up.  They would also make a great gift for the elderly or disabled who just can't get to the door.  Bring a new piece of technology into your home and add a video door phone for you and your family today.
