How it Works: This medical alarm makes direct access to an emergency operator possible because it functions as a hybrid portable phone and speaker phone.

The medical alarm base needs only to be plugged into a wall AC outlet and your home phone jack.  Installation of the included AAA alkaline battery into the pendant gets your medical alarm up and running.  When the single, pre-programmed button on the pendant is pressed, a call is placed to 911 via your home phone line.  This process omits the need for the high-priced monitoring centers which are required by other medical alarms.  Worrying about accidental call activation is unnecessary; the 911 Guardian medical alarm has as 1/2 second call delay as one of its many features.
