COSMoS Motion Detectors

The COSMoS line of motion detectors by Rokonet Security consists of two series:  the COSMoS DT and the COSMoS PIR.  Both of these Rokonet Security motion detector series come with the following features:

  • Integrated microprocessor that controls the unit
  • Brackets for ceiling or wall/corner mounting
  • Patented True Temperature Compensation
  • Range adjustment

Rokonet Security combines infrared and microwave technologies to combat the problem of false alarms.  Infrared detection works by identifying body heat emitted by an intruder, and microwave technology works by sensing movement.  Both technologies must acknowledge an intrusion in order for a model in the COSMoS DT Series to activate the alarm.  

The COSMoS PIR Series is comprised of a range of infrared motion detectors in which Rokonet Security has integrated pet immune technology.  Pet immune technology prevents your motion detector from alerting your security alarm upon detecting an animal--your alarm is only alerted when a human being is detected. 

LuNAR Motion Detectors

The LuNAR line is a collection of ceiling-mounted Rokonet Security motion detectors.  Ceiling mounting is preferred in areas in which corner- and wall-mounted detectors aren't suitable, such as workrooms where they would be blocked by shelves, closets, or room dividers.  This line of Rokonet Security motion detectors includes two series, the LuNAR DT and LuNAR PR.  Each model in both series sports the following features to ensure extensive protection of your home or business.

  • 360 degree coverage area
  • Low profile attractive design
  • Adjustable sensitivity
  • Florescent light interference rejection

Similar to the COSMoS DT series, the LuNAR DT series also combines infrared and microwave technologies to achieve high performance with a low chance of false alarms.   The LuNAR PR series uses infrared detection but doesn't offer pet immunity features.
